Here's me with the president of Palau, Tommy Remenegesau. Not exactly what you would expect a President to look like. And there's no secret service. His tenure is almost up, and the election is a very big deal here.

Here's an example of some of the political signs. They're all over the place.

All of the toilets at PPR (Palau Pacific Resort), where we spend alot of our time, have these funky Japanese cleansing things. It's pretty funny, and strange to sit on a heated toilet seat when you're already sweating because it's so damn hot here!

This is Palau's version of fast food: Bem Ermi's Burgers and Fries! We've gotten food from there a couple of times and it's not bad. The most popular sandwich on the menu is the burger with a fried egg on top.

A beautiful rainbow. One day while we were out diving we saw 4 different rainbows.

Those of you who watched "Survivor: Fans vs. Favorites" may remember when James ate Fruit Bat soup. Well, they really do eat it here and here it is on the menu at Carp Restaurant. My friend Belinda says it's good.

Joe and I find this humorous. Their use of English here is sometimes different.
